In Situ Catharsis

Using a specially transformed lens, Pierre-Elie de Pibrac captured the energy and aura emitted by the dancers during their performances. A totally new visual and subjective rendering of on-stage emotions.

In Situ Analogia

By staging the ballet dancers in various places within the Palais Garnier and shooting with a very wide-angle lens, Pierre-Elie de Pibrac created 14 dance scenes that celebrate the magic atmosphere of the palace.
