MONO NO AWARE

This set of B&W photographs is inspired by Japanese art of Ukiyo-e. They are printed on handmade Japanese mulberry paper. These photographs of abandoned human achievements and natural wonders allow you to feel the unspeakable violence hidden by the disturbing beauties that make up the Japanese landscape. This set allows me to give the viewer some keys to reading my works and to better understand Japan and its mysteries.
